Event Sponsorship Highlights
The Capita Foundation's Listen to the Wind (L2W) 2011 is the nation's only sail and ski benefit weekend. Presented over two days (February 5th and 6th, 2011), L2W combines a day of sailing and a day of skiing, with 100% of proceeds going to auditory research to benefit young children.

Corporate Sponsors
Corporate sponsors appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate their corporate social responsibility 1.) through the support of auditory research to benefit infants, 2.) through the support of a local program which provides direct opportunities for hearing impaired youth, and 3.) by supporting a San Diego-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Through L2W marketing efforts, corporate sponsors will be exposed through local and regional advertising and will have the opportunity to reach a demographic which includes sailing fans and recreational sailors, men and women aged 25 – 55, and adventure-minded individuals who appreciate outdoor activities, healthy living, and have disposable income. Sponsors also qualify for valuable tax deductions*.
Individual Sponsors
Individual sponsors/donors appreciate the importance of cutting-edge research like that provided by Dr. Radha Kalluri, a research scientist at the House Ear Institute who will be using funds in auditory research to considerably improve the way all newborn infants are tested for hearing disorders. Donors also qualify for valuable tax deductions*.
